LIFE ONBOARD

Think of it as your own private floating hotel (or floating RV) which takes you to amazing islands and destination NOT accessible by land. You are like Christopher Columbus adventuring into new grounds!!!  Let your crew be your guides and let them share their invaluable experiences and knowledge with you as you go.  Itineraries and trips can be planned in advance or can also be on a day-to-day basis. Regardless, mother nature always has a say in what we do (since she provides the wind and weather). It must be noted that we do not sail after dark for security reasons (unable to see reefs and shoals).

There are many marinas along the way, but we mostly prefer to anchor in bays or between islands where you can experience what living onboard is truly like. Anchorage choice for the day or the night depend on factors such as wind direction, passengers’ preferences, etc. In general, these places are calm and ideal for water sports and discovery..

A warm and comfortable atmosphere has been created for you with the use of natural materials such as bamboo, coconuts and deep toned woods, which will ensure you get that “Island feeling” from the moment you set foot on s/v WeBeSailing.  This beautiful floating pleasure island boasts 4 master cabins, one being occupied by the crew.

You will be hoisted away in style, either in the “Tiki hut” or “Bamboo cove” staterooms, which both have full sized beds (8” Tempurpedic mattresses) or the Gilligan’s Island stateroom which has a fun layout of 2 single bunks so singles can travel with a friend or alone, at no single supplement fee like most other companies would charge.

We carry up to 400 gallons of fresh water and equal amounts of diesel, so you need not worry about running out of either. Everyone likes a nice hot shower after a long day of swimming, snorkelling and playing under the sun.

This vessel is the brightest you will ever set foot on. The main salon is completely enclosed in glass windows and there are 3 large port lights and a 2’x2’ opening hatch in each of the forward cabins. No more dark dingy quarters and no more claustrophobia.   The average head room on this vessel is 6’5”. So all you tall folks don’t have to crouch down!!!

Please see below for the layout and specs to our “Fun Boat”.

Sailing vessel “WeBeSailing” is a 60 foot Bermudian Ketch. She was custom built in the late seventies in the John I. Perry shipyard, located in Strood England. Her professionally built haul was manufactured of cold molded steel. So you can say that her strength not only lies in her character!!

This formerly named vessel “Fare Well” has set foot around the world in her previous life and has a very interesting past. She even has a book written about her called “Sell Up and Set Sail”. With her newly christened name of WeBeSailing, you can bet your bonsun that We will Be Sailing her most everywhere we can, with plans for a second world voyage within the coming years.

She is an ideal offshore vessel, for both island hopping and around the world cruising. Safe and easily handled in all conditions by a limited crew, she combines traditional English and Classic designs and offers high end craftsmanship, with solid teak and mahogany throughout her interior.

You will immediately be thrilled with the vast deck area and unbelievable feeling this classic yacht has to offer. Well appointed storage exists throughout her, for everything from clothing to provisions, to gear and to sails. Her generous interior layout is comprised of four state rooms which allows her to comfortably accommodate eight people.
